What are TANet Access/Private Circuits?
They are the 'last mile' connection from the Fibernet network to customer premises. They offer a cost effective alternative to Leased Lines at similar bandwidths for both Enterprise and Service Provider customers.
At key Points of Presence on each of the TANet national and metropolitan fibre optic rings, Fibernet has already established 35 points of interconnect with the BT local fibre infrastructure, enabling services based upon SDH. We now have the capability to provide service covering more than 80% of the UK business community.

This product can be used in any scenario to provide a cost effective alternative or supplement (existing) Leased Line services, but is primarily aimed at sub 25km line lengths. It can be used to facilitate Customer connection (the Last mile) to our network, or for a Point to Point solution (via our backbone).
